Rating: 3 / 5
This DVD features Tracy Staehle as the instructor. Be warned that this 90 minute class is not for beginning steppers. Not because of the length of time, but because the instruction is fast and geared toward people who understand basic step instruction already. You will not review a sequence over and over..you get right to it!
I liked the sequencing and mixture of step and interval. The intervals usually emphasize a body part such as thighs, hips, glutes, etc. I liked them and the repetition and pace keeps your heart rate up.
There is a modifier in the group, but the modifications are still not uncomplicated, just less stressful on your joints.
Here’s the breakdown:
6 min warmup
55 min step and interval training
14 floor work
5 min stretch
If you are looking for a DVD to raise your endurance level, this is it!
